Hot Resin Printed Reflective Decals
This special decal is based on our very popular SpeedStripes decal kit. It is essentially our white SpeedStripes reflective decal but it has been resin printed for outstanding durability and minimal pigment thickness for improved reflectivity.
We know it's more expensive than the other brands: We agree completely! Most decals are made with an ink solvent jet printer technology. But we don't use that technology. We use resin instead of ink. Resin printing is outrageously more expensive than ink and solvent counterparts. It is very unlikely you will find any resin pigment made graphics for your motorcycle. Most print shops couldn't afford the expense they would have to absorb in order to sell resin printed decals competitively. From a business plan perspective, Resin is out and Ink is in! . Resin is yesterday's technology. And it's just too expensive to make a living with! If we switched from Resin to Solvent ink, we could print 14 of these for the cost of just one resin print! But don't hold your breath, we're sticking with our resin and nothing is going to change that!
Are we dumb or what? So why would we use what some call an old and expensive printing technology? We're either idiots, or we must might be sly as a fox! You decide.
Why are we being stubborn? It's simple, Resin is superior to ink, by a long long shot! For us it's not about price and it doesn't matter that ink jet is substantially easier to use than resin printing. It's about the durability and reflectivity and in this case, Resin isn't only better, it's superior!
Fits most helmets - The American Independence decal is strikingly handsome when applied to nearly any kind of full or 3/4 helmet. In some cases a little trimming is necessary but for most full helmets no trimming at all is required. Our customers have installed this style decal on everything from motorcycle tank and fenders, to small skull-cap type helmets (you should not use those!). As with all our decal products, you can buy spare parts as well, so don't worry about installation issues. 1 damaged graphic can easily be replaced without ruining the whole kit.

These have minion cosmetic issues that prevent us from selling it as new but they are just too good to dispose of.
