Text Box: Well here is my baby, all dressed up and ready to go where ever. I wanted my bike to look a bit different and also have a different presence at night as well. I stumbled across this reflective pin stripping from this site and decided to give something new a shot. I thought about having my bike painted but really didn't want to lay out a small fortune on a paint job so pin striping seemed like a inexpensive but a high impact process I could complete in an hour or so. This stuff turned out much better than I had imagined. In the day time depending on where the light hits the pin striping, it glows. If you walk around the bike in the sun shine, it lights up and "turns off" as the light reflects. At night the stripes catch even the smallest amount of light so you get a really cool glow there also. Direct light on the stripes is the best for impact but like I say, any light seems to reflect so I am happy about the attention getting safety aspect also. Installation is about as simple as it gets. Use black electrical tape to mark straight lines and use as a guide. Apply the pin striping as close as you can get to the side of the electrical tape side by side. Remove the electrical tape DONE!. Pretty simple huh? One important factor, make sure the temperature is at least 60 degrees. The pin striping isn't like generic striping tape and under 60 degrees it stiffens up so you risk breaking the tape in the middle of a run. If you want to do curves of other patterns this is highly important. It doesn't come off as easy as it goes on so go SLOW. J, Those Gold and Blue stripes on your gas tank look totally cool! First, I want to thank you for the great product, communication and customer support even before I had received your decals. Now that they have arrived, I can see that they are even better than I had expected. Your new installation videos  made my first installation a snap. I Like the videos and they do help a lot to take the mystery out of the  installation. Great results and now a safer, more visible rider.

 

 

When I started on the helmet install I took pictures before and after the installation.  I had to modify the Speed Stripe helmet decal as my helmet is modular.    You can see the before and after photos herein. 

 

My bike is a Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500.  I removed the stock tank decals and replaced them with Streetglo reflective pinstripe and the Motorcycle Graphic Kit.

 

My bike was a big hit with the other riders on our New Years Day run.
